Embark on
an unforgettable journey exploring two of the most charming destinations in the
Madrid region: Aranjuez and Chinchón. History, architecture, and gastronomy

First
stop: Aranjuez, city of kings

Upon
arrival in Aranjuez, we will discover why this city was chosen as a royal
residence. We will stroll through the majestic Gardens of Aranjuez, an
oasis of nature and landscape design that even inspired Joaquín Rodrigo’s
famous Concierto de Aranjuez.

Next, we
will visit the imposing Royal Palace of Aranjuez, an architectural jewel
that will transport us back to the era of Spanish monarchs. We will explore its
luxurious halls and learn about the history surrounding every corner of the
palace.

We will
stop at the Royal Barges Museum, where we will admire the elegant boats
used by the royalty to navigate the Tagus River. Finally, we will visit Plaza
de San Antonio, a historic landmark with its characteristic church and
traditional atmosphere.

Second
stop: Chinchón, medieval charm

After our
visit to Aranjuez, we will head to Chinchón, a town with one of the most
picturesque squares in Spain. We will enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant,
where we can taste local specialties such as roasted lamb or Chinchón anise
liquor (lunch not included in the price).

We will
walk through the Plaza Mayor of Chinchón, famous for its medieval
structure and lively atmosphere. We will visit the National Parador of
Chinchón, a former convent converted into an elegant hotel with a
spectacular cloister.

To end on a
high note, we will explore the Wine Caves Mesón, where we will visit amazing underground caves
and enjoy a glass of wine while, and there we will have lunch

Return
to Madrid at 6:30 PM

After a day
filled with history, culture, and unforgettable flavors, we will begin our
journey back to Madrid.
